Section 1 - Getting Started

What is JamLogic?

JamLogic is a fleet management software that is used to monitor, maintain and manage your fleet of equipment via PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

To gain access to JamLogic, you will first need an account.

Creating your Account

If you are a new organization, you will need to send an email to support@ver-mac.com with the following information:

  • Full name
  • Organization (company)
  • Email address (lowercase letters)

Once our support team has the information, they will create your account and your company/organization (if it doesn't already exist).

You will then receive an email from JamLogic with instructions to reset your password. Next, you will need to download the software.

Downloading the Software

After your password has been created, download the software using this link:

https://svr1.jamlogic.com/download/JamLogic.exe

Please make sure that the following IP addresses and ports are not blocked by your firewall to allow JamLogic to communicate with our servers.

o All traffic from JamLogic will originate from 52.200.121.114, 52.200.199.117, and 52.86.243.251.
o Required outbound ports to JamLogic are 80, 443.

To log in, simply use your email address for the username, and the password you chose. If you are in North America or South America, you will use Server 1 (svr1). For users in the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand, you will use Server 2 (svr2).

You may also use the JamLogic Mobile version by opening a web browser and going to svr1.jamlogic.com or svr2.jamlogic.com depending on your location.

Creating Users (User Manager Permission only)

If you are the designated user manager for your organization, you will have the ability to create users. To create a user, press Tools, then User Management

Scroll to the bottom of the list and enter the necessary information (Full name, email address in lowercase letters, language & groups).

Important: For the Groups section, simply check off the Global User as the default setting, this will give a user access to creating & editing messages, viewing device data, adding new units, etc.

Press save when the user has been created and wait for the save to register.

After saving a user, you must send them an email so they can create their password. To do this, uncheck the Hide Never Logged User box and search for the user (full name or email) by using the filters at the top of the screen.

Once you have found the user, right-click their name and press Send Email. The end user will receive an email asking them to reset their password. Once that is done, they may log in using their email address and newly created password.

Section 5 - Troubleshooting

In the main JamLogic interface, you will always encounter a status. If it is green, then your status is OK and you have nothing to worry about. However, some error codes could appear if the modem loses communication, or if the GPS coordinates cannot be located for example. This list provides all statuses you may see in JamLogic.

Status Icon Color Meaning
Green OK
Yellow Minor issue, unit can still communicate in JamLogic
Red Critical issue, unit will not communicate in JamLogic

If you encounter communication timeouts, it usually means there is an issue with the modem and its ability to communicate with the JamLogic server. You can consult the articles below for modem troubleshooting:
