How to Program a Message on a Handheld Controller (No Quick Program)

Synopsis: If your Ver-Mac message board has a handheld controller, follow these steps to program a message. This is for the controller version without the Quick Program feature.

  • Level: Intermediate
  • Time required: Less than 5 minutes
  • Additional equipment required: None

                                                                                                                                                              

1. Log in to the handheld controller with the default password

2. Go to F2 - MESSAGE

3. Press Enter key, type in your message number (001, 002, 003, etc.), then type in your message

Next, you will need to add your message to a sequence

 

4. Go to F1 – SEQUENCE and select a sequence between 1 & 8, then press F1 - EDIT

Note: Sequences 0 & 9 cannot be edited

5. On the Sequence page, press Enter, then type in the message number of the message created in Step 3

6. Activate your Sequence by pressing Enter, then ESC until you see UPDATING SEQUENCE

6.1. Your sequence can have a maximum of 6 messages/pages

6.2. If your sequence does not activate, log out of the handheld controller and check if the Status = Normal
