Synopsis: Your arrow board could encounter power issues over time. This could be caused by bad batteries or an issue with one of the components.
This article is valid for the following units: VM-4815, VM-4825, VM-367215, VM-367225, VM-306015 & VM-306025.

- Additional equipment required: Voltmeter, replacement parts (optional)
1. Try powering on your controller
1.1. If it doesn't power on, the voltage could be too. Use a voltmeter on the red & black cables of the power connector to see if you are getting 12 volts. If you aren't, the power cable or the truck battery could be at fault.
1.2. You can also try checking the fused lighter plug

2. If it powers on, try running a lamp test by going to Tools, Arrow Settings, then Lamp Test
2.1. The lamp test will test your lights individually

If you see any dim or shut-off lamps, check the positive and negative connectors on the back of them, or simply swap them out with a different lamp.

3. If no lamps turn on, use a voltmeter to check the voltage going to the lamps from the power box
3.1. You will need to use a voltmeter on the white (12v) and black (ground) cables on the 10-pin connector in the power box. Simply unscrew the power box to gain access to the connector.

If you are getting 12 volts and the lamps are still not lighting up, you will need to change the power box. If you are not getting any voltage on the connectors, you likely have an issue with the battery voltage.
